If you see either of the following error messages in your connection log:
Requested name is valid but does not have an IP address
or
Host not found
make sure that you’re connected to the Internet. If you manually need to activate your DSL connection before being able to go online, please refer to your DSL instructions and do so before trying to connect to ExpressVPN. The VPN doesn’t replace your existing Internet connection, it works on top of it.
If you continue to get this error message after trying to reconnect to ExpressVPN, your ISP may be blocking access to our DNS servers. To resolve this, manually set DNS servers. Please note that doing so may result in DNS leaks.
